The Public Works Department will begin annual hydrant flushing on March 23, 2026. Hydrant flushing occurs annually to ensure hydrants are operating properly and there is sufficient water flow and pressure for the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department if needed. In addition, this process helps flush naturally occurring sediment from the water system.
