The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department's Public Education program educates residents about fire safety, life safety, and injury prevention. Some of our programs include: station tours, blood pressure checks, fire extinguisher demonstrations, observed fire drills, safety talks and presentations, community events, and our Annual Open House.

Join us to learn ways to protect your home and family against fire. The 2019 Open House will include fun, interactive, and educational activities for all ages such as station tours, rescue demonstrations, fire extinguisher practice, and child fire hose drills! Senior Fall Awareness and Fire Safety Program

Crystal Lake Fire Rescue offers a free Senior Safety class to interested groups. The free class provides information about ways to reduce the chances of fire injuries or falls. Caretakers are welcome!
