The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department's Public Education program educates residents about fire safety, life safety, and injury prevention. Some of our programs include: station tours, blood pressure checks, fire extinguisher demonstrations, observed fire drills, safety talks and presentations, community events, and our Annual Open House.

Save the Date: October 12, 2019 from 11 AM - 2 PM. 

Join us to learn ways to protect your home and family against fires. The event will include interactive and educational activities for the family such as station tours, rescue demonstrations, fire extinguisher practice, child fire hose drills, and a live burn presentation! Children will have the opportunity to see fire engines and ambulances, exit a house fire, engage in a firefighter skills course, and so much more!

Senior Fall Awareness and Fire Safety Program
Crystal Lake Fire Rescue offers a free Senior Safety class to interested groups. The free class provides information about ways to reduce the chances of fire injuries or falls. Caretakers are welcome!
