North Main Street/ IL Route 176 Project

This project will add a new traffic signal to the intersection of North Main Street and Route 176.  Also including the addition of a northbound left turn lane and eastbound right turn lane at the intersection. New pavement will be placed along North Main Street from Route 176 to Woodstock Street. Water main along Route 176 and North Main Street will also be upgraded 

Street Resurfacing Program

The City of Crystal Lake monitors road conditions and annually develops a program to repair streets that have deteriorated and need repair. The repairs consist of removing the top layer of asphalt, making spot repairs to the exposed base, and then putting a new surface back on the street.
