Culvert Improvement Project
Crystal Creek takes water out of Crystal Lake and passes under roads through culverts. These culverts will be removed and replaced. The roads will need to be closed during construction for approximately 3-4 weeks. Link to page.
Main Street and Crystal Lake Avenue Intersection
The intersection improvement includes widening and resurfacing along Main Street, widening and resurfacing Crystal Lake Avenue, installing a permanent traffic signal, and adding intersection lighting as well as streetscaping elements. The City received $1.5 million in Federal Surface Transportation Funds for this project. Link to page.
Main Street and Railroad Tracks to Route 176
This project includes resurfacing North Main Street, adding a new traffic signal at Route 176, adding an eastbound right-turn lane on Route 176, adding a northbound left-turn lane on North Main Street, and upgrading the water main. The City received $1.5 million in Federal Surface Transportation Funds for this project. Link to page.
Virginia Road and Route 14
The intersection improvement includes an additional of a second left-turn lane on Virginia Road, an additional of an eastbound right-turn lane on Route 14, an upgrade to traffic signal equipment, pedestrian accommodations, and bike lane striping along Virginia Road to Berkshire Lane. Link to page.
