Litter Cleanup Rental Kits

The Crystal Lake Sustainability Committee proudly offers the Independent Litter Pick-Up Rental Program, which is an easy, flexible way for individuals and small groups to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Through this program, volunteers can borrow fully equipped litter cleanup kits and choose a City-owned area they’d like to help keep clean. Getting started is simple: contact the City, have each participant complete a Hold Harmless agreement, review the safety Terms and Conditions, and pick up your kit. Kits may be rented for a few days at a time.

Once your cleanup is complete, the City’s Public Works Department will collect all filled garbage and recycling bags so you can focus on making a difference without the hassle. Just return your kit, and you’re all set! This program comes at no charge, with no long-term commitment.
