What's a DORA?

The City of Crystal Lake has two Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Areas (DORA) in Downtown Crystal Lake! These seating areas allow residents and visitors to sit and enjoy a meal or drinks from Downtown restaurants, bars and shops! Alcoholic drinks can be consumed in the DORA, please read the rules listed below.

Locations

• Drinks at Brink - Brink Street Market Plaza
• Depot Park - Corner of Woodstock Street and Williams Street (Not in use for 2025)

How to Enjoy

• Order food and drinks from your favorite Downtown establishment.
• Pick-up your food and sealed alcoholic drinks or have them delivered to the DORA.
• Enjoy your time and drink responsibly!

Rules

• Wrist bands are required to be obtained from a participating business and must be worn in the DORA when consuming alcoholic beverages.
• No open alcoholic beverages are allowed outside of the DORA.
• Alcohol can be purchased from participating Downtown businesses only.
• No smoking in the DORA.
• Public seating closes at 11:00 p.m. for alcohol consumption.
• All DORAs will only be open from May 1 - October 31.
