The City of Crystal Lake's Traffic Safety Committee uses a multi-disciplinary approach to review and respond to resident requests. The committee is responsible for investigating traffic safety concerns such as:

  • Speeding
  • Cut-through traffic
  • Pedestrian safety
  • Traffic control sign requests
  • Overall traffic safety

The Traffic Safety Committee has a formal Traffic Calming Policy that contains information on how traffic safety concerns are evaluated and options for traffic calming.
