STRUCTURE FIRE – 767 Oak Court
Crystal Lake, IL – At 9:32 pm, the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department was dispatched to the report
of a structure fire at 767 Oak Ct. in Crystal Lake, IL. At 9:37 pm, the first arriving Crystal
Lake Fire Rescue unit reported smoke coming from the two story garage.
Fire crews discovered a fire on the garage floor. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire and
began checking for any fire that extended into the second floor. The fire was declared under
control in approximately 20 minutes after the arrival of the first fire unit. Damage is estimated
between $5,000 and $10,000. There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and is under investigation by Crystal Lake fire investigators
at the time of this release.
