Update - Water Rescue

*UPDATE* 6 year old female victim was flown to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is in stable condition.
On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at approximately 12:51 p.m., Crystal Lake Police and Crystal Lake Fire Rescue personnel were summoned to Three Oaks Recreation Area, 5517 Northwest Highway, after receiving a 911 call of an female juvenile who was found unresponsive, face down in the water.
The juvenile was removed from the water by witnesses and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was immediately started by witnesses and a Three Oaks Lifeguard. Within minutes both Police and Fire Rescue personnel arrived on scene, at which time Paramedics provided advanced life support treatment to the juvenile. Ultimately she was transported by ambulance, with her family present, to Huntley Centegra Hospital. At this time it is believed the female is between the ages of 5-7 years old.
Members of the Investigations Unit are currently on scene gathering information about the incident. This case remains active and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
