Development
Committee
The Economic
Development Committee consists of nine Crystal Lake residents.
Members are volunteers appointed and confirmed by the Mayor and City
Council. The Committee provides advice on issues pertaining to business
and industry and assists with implementation of the City's Economic
Development Strategic Plan. The Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday

To aid
the City's efforts to attract targeted businesses, the Committee
is working on a 'Comparative Analysis' to better understand
the City's current business mix and what residents would
like to have in their community. The Committee would like
to hear from all residents about businesses or retailers
that you would like to see locate in Crystal Lake. Please
