Economic Development

The Planning & Economic Development department directs commercial and residential development inquiries and economic development initiatives. The Department implements the City's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances and the City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and reviews plans for all residential, commercial and industrial developments in the City. Planning staff assists the Planning & Zoning Commission, Economic Development Committee and the City Council with various zoning and economic development requests.
