Historic Preservation Commission News

The Historic Preservation Commission is made up of members who are dedicated to preserving Crystal Lake's history.  They attend and support many activities throughout the city and surrounding areas. 

Every year the Historic Preservation Commission organizes a Heritage Trolley Tour which takes riders on a trip through time by visiting certain historic properties.  This year's tour is Vintage Variety, highlighting numerous historic properties around the City.  The tour will be held on Sunday, June 10th from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Each trolley ride is approximately 45 minutes and allows riders to hear the history of many families, business owners, and properties.   Don't be left behind, purchase your tickets at Heisler's Bootery starting May 19th.
