Seasonal Part-time Lifeguard
This is seasonal work, providing life saving services to customers using the beach at the Three Oaks Recreation Area. Work includes monitoring the facilities for safety and well-being, testing facilities for safety, and may include teaching water safety and swim classes. Work is performed under direct supervision of the Beach Supervisor or manager on duty, and is reviewed through observation for results obtained.

Must be at least 16 years of age and possess an American Red Cross Certification for Lifeguard and First Aid as well as CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer upon employment. Preference will be given to candidates currently certified or enrolled in the certification programs as certification will not be provided by the City. Ideal candidates will also possess extensive swimming experience, preferably high school or club swim team. Experience performing lifeguard duties and any equivalent combination of training a plus.
