Crystal Lake Unified Development Ordinance

The City of Crystal Lake adopted the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) on April 21, 2009 (effective July 21, 2009). The UDO consolidates the various land development ordinances into one document to provide a single document rather than multiple, conflicting ordinances; a uniform set of consistent definitions; procedures that follow the normal sequence of development and a coordinated system for development review and enforcement.
