The City of Crystal Lake's Traffic Safety Committee is responsible for investigating traffic safety concerns such as:
- cut-through traffic
- pedestrian safety
- traffic control sign requests
- overall traffic safety
- A multi-disciplinary approach to reviewing and responding to resident requests.
The Traffic Safety Committee has a formal Traffic Calming Policy that contains information on how traffic safety concerns are evaluated and options for traffic calming.
