Fire Rescue and Police Department Helped Establish Flight for Life Landing Zone at Crystal Lake South High School

Crystal Lake  - On November 19, 2017 at approximately 4:07 p.m., the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department responded to the front parking lot of Crystal Lake South High School to establish a landing zone for the Flight for Life helicopter in order to transport a subject to a Level I Trauma Center.

The subject transported was injured in a cooking accident. Injuries did not appear to be life threatening, but required care at a Level I facility. Patient care was transferred to the Flight for Life crew at 4:33 p.m.The Crystal Lake Police Department assisted with securing the landing zone at Crystal Lake South High School.
