FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 28, 2017

Crystal Lake-

The recent storms have resulted in storm damage to trees throughout the City.  Public Works Department crews began collecting storm-related brush starting Thursday July 27, and will continue to do so through Wednesday, August 2, 2017.  Residents are encouraged to contact the Public Works Department at (815) 356-3614 to report a pickup to help ensure brush is not missed.

Please have your storm related brush debris at the curb before 7:00 am. Due to the extent of the storm damage, we are requesting resident’s cooperation in limiting the brush and limbs to recent storm damage only. The brush must be under 6 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter.

The Brush Drop-Off Site at the Waste Water Treatment Facility located on 445 Dartmoor Drive (corner of Dartmoor Drive and Coventry Lane), is also open Saturday, July 29, 2017 and Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
